With a deep understanding of the coexistence between violence and healthcare, Courtney Bouthilet has spent more than 10 years working as a forensic nurse. She combats the effects of interpersonal violence on individuals and brings awareness of preventive and victim centered, trauma informed care response to patients, communities and institutions.
